What is Merchant Express Deposit?
El Dorado Savings Bank's Merchant Express Deposit allows merchants to make a small deposit to their accounts from home or office through the use of a compatible document scanner.
How do I enroll?
All requests are subject to approval. Some accounts may not be eligible for Merchant Express Deposit.
When can I start using Merchant Express Deposit?
Your enrollment request for Merchant Express Deposit can take up to five (5) business days. If approved, you will be notified by email. You may call our Internet Banking Department at (800) 874-9779 to check on the status of your request.
Once you have been notified, you can immediately start making deposits.
Is there a fee to use Merchant Express Deposit?
No. El Dorado Savings Bank's Merchant Express Deposit is a free service to approved customers.
Will El Dorado Savings Bank provide me a scanner?
No. Approved Merchant Customers will need to provide their own TWAIN scanner.
What requirements do I need for Merchant Express Deposit?
What is a TWAIN Scanner?
Any document scanner that is compatible with the TWAIN software is a TWAIN scanner.
The TWAIN software, installed on your PC or laptop, allows the scanner to scan a check directly to the Merchant Express Deposit system.
How do I submit a check deposit?
How many checks can I deposit at once?
At this time, you can only submit one check per deposit. If you have multiple checks, you will need to submit multiple deposits.
How much and how many times can I submit a deposit?
You may submit an unlimited number of deposits as long as you do not exceed the maximum limit of $2500 per day, or the maximum limit of $5000 per 7 day period.
How do I know if El Dorado Savings has received my check deposits?
You will be notified by email when your check has been received.
On a separate email, you will be notified if your check has been approved or denied.
Do I need to endorse my checks?
Yes, you would endorse the check as you normally do when deposited at a local branch. Failure to endorse a check could cause your deposit to be denied.
What do I do with my check after it has been submitted?
You will need to safe keep your deposited checks for 14 days after the deposit date. Once the 14 days have been reached, you agree to properly dispose of the item to ensure it is not represented for payment.
I accidentally submitted the same check I had deposited last week, what should I do?
Our system analyzes each check as they are submitted. Any check that is suspected of being a duplicate will be rejected. However, you may also call your local branch at (800) 874-9779; they can assist you in deleting the duplicate check.
After submitting a deposit, when will the funds be available in my account?
Generally, all funds submitted through Merchant Express Deposit will be available on the next business day.
