Request to Delete
This “Request to Delete” notice is designed to help consumers understand the types (categories) of personal information (PI) we collect, the business or commercial purposes for which the PI is used, and what personal information we have in our files you can request to have deleted.
El Dorado Savings Bank is a Federal Savings Bank. We are required under Section 501(b) of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA) to keep all PI private and confidential. The regulations for the California Consumer Privacy Act provides for any PI that falls under the requirements of the GLBA to be exempt from deletion.
We do not and will not sell your PI and because of that, all PI collected by us is regulated by the requirement of the GLBA and exempt from deletion.
To request information collected on you to be deleted, please submit a 'Request to Delete' application.
This includes Personal Information (PI) we collect from your completed applications and forms for Bank products or services. This data includes: name, birthdate, your addresses, social security number, driver’s license number, passport number, signature, and /or other similar identifiers.
Verify Who You Are
We rely on the PI we collect in this category to tell us who you are, how to contact you, and to help us service your account.
Household and Other Personal Identifiers
The PI we collect under this category depends on the product or service requested.
It might include: marital status, household information, addresses, and other contact information.
If you use any of our Internet Banking products we might collect, web site cookies, and the IP address used by you when signing onto our web application to help authenticate you.
Depending on the Banking products or services you requested, we might need to collect insurance, employment, and / or education information.
For some Bank products we might collect credit account and other information to help us establish your net worth.
Service Your Account
Some of the PI collected under this category helps us authenticate you and / or verify the information you provided to us.
Other PI in this category is required for us to evaluate, offer, and service the banking products you have requested.
